We are Amy and Kaleb Becar, a husband and wife team with a passion for holistic toxin free toys that inspire curiosity and wonder through play. As a couple we enjoy working together and this business has shown us that we build each other up and support each other in our differences and strengths. We believe that cultivating an environment for children to learn through play encourages independence, development and confidence. The toys that we make are an investment in a conscious and healthy lifestyle.
This journey started when we had our daughter in the Spring of 2016. We found ourselves desiring safe, healthy and timeless wooden toys instead of all the plastic and electronic based options offered. The mission became making more eco-friendly toys that benefit rather than harm the environment as well as encourage creative play. Natural living has become more important to us over the years as well as sharing our toys as an alternative option for a healthy lifestyle. Everything we make for our store is something that we feel confident giving to our own family.
Our company began in our basement, which was also our storage and laundry room. We had no previous experience with woodworking but through an amazing amount of determination, strong values and passion we developed personally, creatively and spiritually. Our business has grown in ways that we could have never dreamed up for ourselves. We are proud to be able to build these toys for you and we hope that our toys inspire you to build many memories in your household.

You can be confident that our toys are free of dyes and stains, fragrances, BPA, phthalates, mineral oil, chlorine, and arsenic and lead.
There are studies showing that plastic, even if it is BPA free, still leeches harmful chemicals.
Everything we make is sealed with organic coconut oil and beeswax and we use hyde glue to attatch smaller parts. These details mean that you can be confident in the quality and safety for children to play and mouth the wood.
Another interesting fact is that wood is naturally antimicrobial, meaning it cleans itself. Some people even claim that wood is cleaner than plastic because of this!
We do personalized toys! We can burn or brand your child's name, initial, or monogram on just about anything we make.
Our business desires open-ended toys that are both modern and timeless. The toys we handmake are heirloom quality and will last through generations.
